Paros, Greece

Day 25 & 26

Paros was much more of a friendly, attractive, laid-back island with an enticing main town. The water was crystal clear.

My time here was much more relaxing than the last few days. Chilling by the beach and watching the sunset each day. I would never be sick of the sunset Greece brings me.

A windmill was the first thing I saw when I hopped off the ferry. I will forever remember Paros for its windmill.

Santorini is our next stop.

Mykonos, Greece

Day 24

It was time. The only Mykonos I know is from the movie Wog Boys.  A happy place full of white buildings and wog boys. 5:30am – Jas and Steph met up their tour group while I navigate my own way to the port. In no time I was on the Ferry en route to Mykonos and of course with my daily fix of Greek coffee. I bagged myself a table on the top and set myself up. I wonder if we were on the same Ferry. Thirty minutes in and I am once again reunited with them. We sailed to Mykonos together. It was not until now that we were actually locked up in one spot for more than 5 hours. It felt good to have quality time with them. In no time Jas and I began gas bagging about anything and everything.

We arrived!! I lost track of the girls and was totally clueless in where to go. Now I am once again lost. I somehow found myself a the bus stop however with two routes to pick from. LORD! Which one do I take> Using my own instinct I jumped on the New Port bus. I got off at the last stop and quickly found myself a spot with wifi. Yea it was a restaurant and I was hungry. Here I downed myself my 5th gyros since being in Greece. There was no sigh of Jas online and it clicked to me that I was homeless but it totally didn’t bother me. LOL

Tasha, my savior was online. I am so lucky. As soo as she found out my situation, she was straight into the car to locate me. She arrived in her tiny weeny car. I have never felt so much love from someone I hardly know. She was full of knowledge of Mykonos. I had myself a person guide. In one breath full, she gave me the run down of the whole island.

If you have every travelled with me, you should notice I never do any research.  I just rock up to any destination and wing my way through it. Some may be annoyed with my way. It was the moment I was embraced with Tasha that I fell in love with Mykonos. The driving in Mykonos is one of a kind. Its pretty much super narrow roads, I don’t know how buses get through with two-way traffic.

We stopped at a local grocery and stocked up on Alcohol. This is where I saw Martin Sloveig. I was stroked, star stroked! I stuck my head out of the aisle, there he was staring straight at me. What do I do? I screamed out OMG x3! I wondered if he would take a photo but I was acting too Chicken. I followed him into the alcohol aisle and just watched his every move. Stalker much?

We arrived at Tasha’s accommodation and all I wanted to do was scream & jump. It was so beautiful! BEAUTIFUL! She was located on top of the island where you could view the whole city below. Breathtaking! I see the reason why she comes back to Mykonos every year. She made me fall in love again. I don’t know how much more I could take. Tasha already had my two day itinerary planned. I am so excited!!!! I finally got in touch with Jas and with the help of lovely Tasha I was reunited.

It was 6pm and a deep nap was needed before we party to sunrise. YEAH BABY! MYKONOS!!!

It was Cavo Paradiso tonight with Alesso dropping beats until sunrise. The place was full of Italians. I felt like a home. As per usual, I would wonder off on my own and had my own fun!! Before we knew it, It was Alesso’s last song. NOOO!! I don’t want tonight to end. However that didn’t stopped Tasha and I, we continued for another 2 hours!!!

It was 8am and we had to call it a night, oh sorry I mean morning.

Day 25

Baby, we're in Mykonos! There is no time wasted to be sleeping. After 4 hours sleep it was time to rise and satisfy my tummy. Tasha was kind enough to show us more of Mykonos. This time to Super Paradise, one of the popular beach clubs that hosts beach parties. It was 5pm and the crowd starts to roll in and music is pumping.

I don't know how to describe it but ever since Tomorrowland, music has become my life. There seems to be no song I dislike, everyone touches the heart deep.

As the crowd grew, the people turned feral. My friends were crazy and didn't want to stop. At this point  calafati was OVER it. I got myself together and scooted out. I seriously had no idea where I was, as Tasha has been the leader in directions for the past two days. It was no surprise I found myself on the wrong bus heading to places where I didn't know. Yet again, it didn't bother me.

The night was so wrong, my planned self journey ended up with looking after an intoxicated friend. Numerous complaints about my navigation and too much clinginess. All I wanted right now was to be on my own. Me, myself & I. It took us a good 2.5 hours to make it back to the hotel. I knew Jas was going to be worried. Straight into the room and she wasn't there. OMG!! Now I am worried. Without thinking, I hurried outside and searched for her. I made my way through all directions possible and still no sight. WAIT!!! JAS!! is that you? THANK GOD! High 5's all the way!

We spent our night laying by the beach to the early hours of the morning being anti-social. There was free wifi on the beach. It was the perfect company to end our last Mykonos night. HEARTyou!

We are now off to Paros.

Barcelona, Spain

Day 16, 17 & 18 (Morning)

One of the main reason why I am here in Europe. It was only a pit stop for two days from all my flight changes.

I was in no hurry to tear Barcelona down. I will be back soon for 7 nights.

I was luckily enough to catch my tent buddy Tricia here. What do we do best again? We walked, talked & ate a lot. It was time to say another goodbye. I hate goodbyes. We waved each other goodbye at the train station. This wave seemed so long. I guess we all didn't want it to end.  Gosh, I am going to miss this girl. It won't be long before I embark to America to find you.

It was a chill two days, with countless pit stops, walking, chilling & verbal diarrhoea. It was a much needed recovery mode from the week of madness.

It was also bitter sweet too. It was here we realised that we were gonna be separated very soon. We needed to forget all this and try to make our last night work. We tried to put in an effort and not sleep but somehow failed. We found ourselves in the early morning drinking beer at maccas ( McDonald). YES! they serve beer. Only the Europeans can do this.

It was time to hit the airport. In a blink of an eye, it was over. We were separated. One was going home and the other continuing their journey.

The only thing we have left are the memories. Time surely flies when you're having fun.

I will never forget the week I had. It was crazy and I don't think any could top it ever. Thank You to those who made it possible. missssssssssu

IBIZA (Post-Tomorrowland)

The best 4 days of my life! It was only possible because of the one and only DAN the wanna be GRAND! lol

I don't think I could ever stop talking about our adventures. 8D

Day 12

I made my way out of Dreamville and headed to Brussels station. From now I would need to train it back to London and pick up my luggage. I had a flight that was due at night flying to Ibiza, Spain. Everything was going well, bags checked in and through to the terminal. My flight was at 19:25. I had 40 minutes to kill before take off. I opened up my laptop to occupy time. I looked at the time19:40 and thought to myself there is still plenty of time. WAIT!! wasn't my flight suppose to leave 15 minutes ago? PANICKED! Yes I did. The lady at the counter asked me to stay put and wait to be decontrolled. Too determined to make it onto the last flight, I hustled the lady and she booked me onto the last flight after giving an extra 60 pounds. The last seat was sold to me. Pheww!  With only 50 minutes till departure, she took the initiative to decontrol me herself and re-check me in. We made it. We hugged each other and bid our farewells. She was anxious too as she shouldn't have booked me onto this flight with so little time. Thank You. Arrived in Ibiza at 2am and everyone was out dancing. I decided to end the night early and get enough rest to tackle the coming days.

Day 13

I was suppose to leave on the 1st of August while everyone departs on the 2nd. G talked up this boat party so high that it made me extend my stay, costing me about €500 and a needed two night stay in Barcelona. Stephanie aka my dose of daily drug lead us to Bora Bora where beach front restaurant with pumping music is scattered all over. We opted to be as Spanish as can be with countless jugs of sangria & of course paella. Yummy in my tum tum. The rest of the crew decided to play downer and head back to the apartment. I was convinced to stay back and beach it with Steph, Nat & Dan aka the TEAM!! It was this same day I discovered my fondness of Stephanie. There will never be a boring party when she's around. Time really flies when you are having so much fun.

It was midnight and what does that mean in Ibiza? it's time to partyyyy!! we hit amnesia, where Afrojack was spinning tonight. It was also this night that I discovered the likes for deep house. DEEEEEEP HOUSEEE. It was also this night I found my partner in crime. you know who you are!!!! I never thought I would find someone that is on the same level as me and because of this I knew Ibiza was going to be EPIC! I never wanted this night to end. Before we knew it, the music stopped and we needed to leave. NOOOO.

To live up to #TEAMNOSLEEP, we hit up a bottle shop and watched the sunrise on the beach. It was finally 12pm and it was time to call it a night.

Quote of the day: 'I have plenty of time in the world~'

Day 14

Unfortunately there was no sleep as of yet. We showered and headed out for a super late lunch. After lunch I managed pull through an hour nap and it was time for Ushuaia. Pool party with the likes of Sebastian Ingrosso & Axwell spinning us high till midnight. Another epic episode. Typical us, we didn't want this to end.  It was too early. We jumped straight into Space, where AN21 & Max Vangeli was playing. Time really flies when you are having fun!! It was time to call it another end. *cries*

Day 15

This was my extended day! BOAT PARTY! Bring it on! All aboard!

Wait! It was definitely not the party I imagined in my mind. G! you liar. You talked it up so high. You failed me. Luckily I had the presence of 'The Team' and it made the party better than it was actually.

We docked at some small island that I forgot its name and hired bikes. So we rode, rode and rode. Half went left and we decided to go right. This is where it all started. We arrived at a different beach on the island. Parked and explored. The water was so cold. I was convinced to swim to this large rock. Ok fine! It was now our rock. In no time we had our continuous verbal diarrhea. Life is too good without drama. We didn't want to leave the rock. It was the perfect spot. We had no sense of time and decided to play clock. We allowed ourselves another 15 minutes before swimming back. I think this 15 minutes may have been an hour( I could possibly be exaggerating)? Who knows. The only reason we got up and left was because we wanted ice cream. Not just any ice cream but coconut ice creammmmmm!

SHIT! As we rode back to the port, we slowly watched our boat sail off. OOPS! The expression on our faces were priceless, no flinch. We didn't care. We jut wanted ice cream. So we stayed on the island for another hour eating our ice cream. It was not the end of the world. We hopped into a commercial ferry and sailed back. I can honestly say, it beats being on that boat anyways.

We docked at Ibiza Town. AMAZING! I couldn't believe there was a different feel on this island besides the partying scene. Beautiful. It was here I believed in the Europe I have dreamt of. Doing it our way, we navigated our way by foot back to the apartment.

We arrived back and was gearing up to face the crowd. We didn't know how everyone would react once we return. We did go missing. We did miss the boat and to make things worse I had possession of someone's wallet. Oops!

Everyone was off to Pacha! As we were on a shoestring we gave it a pass but not to partying though. Everyone had their luggage packed. Our flights were in the morning. Everyone had plans to be back by 6am and straight to the Airport. It was midnight and everyone left.

Now it was 3am and it was our turn to start the party. We were told Privilege was free entrance. We arrived and got lied to. We still made our way in. The crowd was unusual and different. You need to go and experience yourself. The whole scene was different but we were not bothered because we knew we would managed to find our own little grove. In no time, we fitted in.

Again, we didn't want it to end. It was 6amand we didn't leave. We were pushing for time. We left later than scheduled. We made our way back to our separate apartments and found ourselves isolated. We were left behind. Everyone was gone.

It was only 7am when I arrived at the airport. I was still too early for my flight. I still felt energised and the feeling of chilling did not work for me.

I was alone at this point. OMG! we were reunited again. What do we do best of? We pulled through many High 5s and laughed our way through security. We were in such a bad shape but full of energy. We found a few of the crew and they were half dead. I think we were the trouble makers, never wanting to stop and I could imagine most annoyed at us but I don't care!!

I was homeless as this point and needed to book accommodation asap

We were on the same flight. See you in Barcelona!

There was a few things that could not be disclosed in this blog. It was something that definitely played a big part on our experience. HAAA HAAAA

My experience in Ibiza was unreal and even this post cannot fully describe my feelings towards it. There was too much that unfolded and too much details for it. Nobody in this world would understand. Thankfully I had that much needed person to share this memory with. Don't you worry, these memories will be in my head forever. Ibiza wouldn't have been the same without you. I would not change a thing about it. It was the time of my life. I hope you feel the same way too!
thankssssssssssssa 💜

Athens, Greece

Day 22

Reunited with my biacth jasBALLS and Steph. Words can’t describe how good it is to see such a familiar face. They’re kind enough to let me bunk with them. Jesus! There staying in a hotel. It feels so good to have some privacy and no dorm mates. I spent majority of the nigh in doors enjoying the luxury of a room while they spent time with their fellow tour mates. It felt like paradise. It was like a dream. As per usual I lost my way while trying to find a grocery. It took me almost 2 hours to make my way back to the hotel. I even had to catch the train back. I wonder how far I walked.

Day 23

Late rise and off I go to explore Athens on my own. I first ended up at the Acropolis. AMAZING! The ancient Greek stone structures are ridiculous. I sat at this ancient theater that was built in the BC for at least 30 minutes, imagining how it was like to see a show.

The Acropolis! The trek all the way up the top was amazing. There stood three different temples. Europe continuously give my heart to the ground. The beauty they bring is miraculous.  Trying my best to take in all my surroundings, I say and enjoyed the view of Athens from top.

I made my way by foot to the city center.  I love how Greece still kept their cultural buildings alive and not the modern construction take over. It is amazing how you find normal commercial stores within these buildings. It is crazy. I stumbled across a flea market where many hippie stalls and outdoor dining was located.

I was not even hungry but felt the need to eat for the sake of the live Greek music some restaurant had. As soon as I sat down, I fell in love deep. I never wanted to leave my spot. Before I knew, 3 hours went past and I really should make my way back to my friends.

It was such a happy day for me and all I could do was smile everywhere I went. I didn’t want it to end, so I decided to finally pull out my map for the first time and navigate my way back by foot. The streets were dark in Athens and I actually had a male follow me in a scooter. Stopping by me twice, first time asking me do I need help which I replied no and second time asking me to have coffee. SHIVERS! My foot has never walked so fast in my whole life. I definitely don’t recommend any female to walk the quiet streets alone at night. Thankfully I made it back in one piece.

We are heading to Mykonos tomorrow. I am so excited. 5 hours to go.
